Attention: TDR Forum Junkies

Thanks, TDR Staff

Competition Raced a porsche cayenne turbo!!

Competition 1/4 mile dump truck

If anyone is interested, please post what spare parts/odd tools you will have that could be borrowed or bought at Muncie, to get a guy running again between pulls.

There will no doubt be some carnage, but there is plenty of time to fix a lot of things.

I know Redram 1 and I will have various driveshafts, boots, clamps, axles, yokes, turbos, injection pump, etc. And thats just our personal spares, lol.

Anyone with a welding truck would also be greatly appreciated.

Whos got the air compressor?

Gene,

I should have a spare compressor with me. It might need a different air line/fitting. Not sure since it is already up there.

You need me to go get some fittings for the ol' dyno? She has had plenty of Mother Nature showers recently! Looking pretty clean.

I will bringing a timing kit, tools, a little jig to test for boost leaks, hopefully a transmission jack if it gets here in time, generator, air compressor and i will bring my smaller hobart handler mig welder. Hopefully i do not need to use any of the above so feel free to find me and make use of this stuff. Matt

Did somebody say welder?

Well i got an oldy but a goodie stick welder that i can bring along if needed. get back to me about it. other wise i wont bring it. oh forgot to mention im sertified if that helps.

The Fat Kid Diving Team!

Andy

P. S. i can bring scrap steel if needed to PM me if you need any thing

Welder? Got one for sale. Anybody intersted in a 400 amp DC machine powered by a 2-71 Detroit? :D Yea well, it was worth a try.

I would like to see that.

Turbo tweaker, thanks for the offer, if it is going to be a hassle, don't bother, I haven't seen a lot welding in the past, hopefully none in the future.

There was a welding truck there last year, but he did more damage than good. ;)

welder

Hey Scott,

I would like to know what you would take for the welder. I am close so it would not be a big deal to come check it out.

Best regards.

Andrew

If KTA will be there he has a whole truck full of tools just tell him not to dump them out before he leaves:D

As far as parts goes, If I don't make the final 25, anything on the truck is fair game as long as I can get it back at the end of the night. Got to be back home first thing sunday morning. Dean

Nah, I have a spare compressor in it and if we were going to use it to run air tools, I think i might need to change out the air line fitting. But, to be honest, I can't remember.

Glad to hear mother nature is helping out. But I am surprised you haven't gotten the brush and soap out and washed it for me. ;)

We'll be leaving Thursday morning... :D

Wasn't there a guy from PA that had a fully equipped CTD powered welding truck @ TiM '03? Red Hot Welding?

Maybe he's coming this year...

I'll help wrench on broken trucks... and tow Jim Tisdale back to WI when he breaks something big on his truck. :D

Matt

I will be there all day and I am not much into the pulling just the drag racing. I would be glad to be a gofer if someone needs run down to a parts store. I lived in Muncie for years and might still be able to get around. Kirk

There is only two tools needed... ... ... ... ..... a big trailer and a winch.

I'll have a stock u joint and an 80 yoke w/straps and bolts that I carry for GOOD LUCK... ... lol

I will bring my trailer but the tow vehicle is also the puller so I may need a tow vehicle to make it home.
