Competition Will this tap work for installing my studs?

In an effort to get my hooking point farther forward (per advice from members on here) I managed to move my factory reciever forward about 9". I also shortened up my adjustable pulling hitch about 5". The end result is shown in the follow pictures.

I also got my suspension blocks made from some scrap iron. I made them adjustable so I can run fully blocked or allow 1" of movement (as some rules require). They bolt in place of the rubber bump stops. What do you think?

Looks like someone had a field day with the welder!

Looks great to me... . slap a little tractor and implement paint on there and they will look awesome!

Where did you get the plans for those suspension blocks? ;)

I was looking at the hitch on my truck this weekend, looks like there are already holes in the frame that will work if I only wanna move it forward about 4", but its gonna require taking my bumper off when I pull.

Hey, thanks for the plans. My first set were not adjustable and looked horrible so they went back into the scrap iron pile.

Has anyone made a rollpan or purchased one from somewhere? It would look alot better than running no rear bumper all summer.

great... i hate drilling in the frame, the hot metal pieces land on my while im laying under there and burn me, and it takes forever to get thru that hard steel!!

i'll be doing this soon tho hopefully
