I just starting having this problem a couple of weeks ago. When you accelerate it is smooth till 35mph and then the gear shifter starts to shake pretty bad, and the truck will put you in the right hand ditch very fast if you let go of the the steering wheel for any period of time. I just had new tires and rims installed, so i thought that was the problem, so i put my stock wheel and rims back on, and have the same problem. I had my truck up on the hoist in our shop, and everything is tight. I installed a new track bar 10,000 miles ago. I just also recently installed new Monroe Reflex shocks all the way around, could it be possible that one of them might be bad already? The truck has 124,000 miles on it. Any ideas?

Could be the caliper sticking or bad brake hose. My old Ford has that problem. It's the hose I found out after replacing the caliper.

Four-wheel alignment? Tire wear?

Shakey stick could be from motor/transmission mounts.

Check your front axle u-joints. One of them could be dry and binding up,or completly worn out, which can cause the vibration and the pull.

:--) My 94 does the same thing 35-70 the front end will shake, I have had both front axle U joints replaced, track bar is adjustable, the one thing I have found is the steering gear box output shaft will move FWD when turned to the Left and AFT when moved to the right. I NEED to get an alignment, because the inside of my BFG's are cupping. OH!! I have also installed two steering stabilizer's.

Cured

I had my front end alingment done and figured out what the problem was, i just bought four new cooper tires and the back two are way out of round. Where i purchased them, there tire balancer spins the tire slowly. The goodyear tire store where i had the tires balanced next, there machine spins the tire pretty fast, and thats when you could see the tire going up and down really bad, So i am getting two more new tires, hopefully better luck this time!!!Oo.

Glad you could figured out your tire problem, I had mt BFG's road force balanced twice by different dealers.

Still shake, shake, shake some-times I think that the engine is missing or one delivery valve is sticking.

Need to go to Newport News and have Rammin On help me set up my timing to 15. 5deg and see if that helpsOo.
