Competition pulling with ofe...once...maybe twice?

Ive got a SB con ofe 6spd 3. 55, 3500, quad cab, dd2's, and comp. Just wondered if 3rd low will do ok, pulling a sled once or twice this summer. I'm starting to get a little more brave with this thing since cash flow is improving. Just want to see what it will do. Any suggestions?

A friend of mine had this same exact set-up for a while. I think he had 3 or 4 hooks with it before he graduated to a pulling clutch. He had a TON of traction, and never seemed to get started in 3rd low range. But, the clutch seemed to work fine when he took it out.

However, I would not recommend pulling with it. Be prepared to buy a new one real soon. It WILL NOT last.

Pulling with any single disc clutch is not a good idea. Duel disc is the best and will last a long time.
