Competition pulling with single cab

How can get a single cab to stay with longer truck. I pulled yesterday i could not get traction. I was in drive just 40 mph siting 200 ft. The rest of the truck was at 300 ft or more. I was pulling off my reese hitch people told me to get a hitch up under the truck would help. My tire are 285 buckshot . Just wanting so help to get traction i have more motor than traction. thanks

Go bit more aggressive on the tread and strap your front end to your front axle. Make it slightly nose down. Limit the rear suspension to 2'' travel (1" up 1" down)



Hang some weight off the front? Allowed in your class? Having a shorter wheelbase truck means it's lighter. You could hang some big weight off the front.
