Off Roading Atlas Winch

Went to my first sled pull event and competed... Had a blast just a small local event. Must have chose my gears wiser than the others got 2nd place with four wheel drive not working... . Just had to share

o ok. lol well i will be no help to this one. i have a 2wd and street tires. i do have a detroit locker. the real deal not a true track.

Start in first and shift manually to second (easily) when YOU want it to, leave it in second till' she quits pullin. locking t/c helps also w/ ground speed and clutch life

Alright!!! What gear did you pull in?

I did the same thing with my truck at a small local pull last year. I pulled in 4Lo 4th gear. I really felt like I had the power to have pulled 4 Lo 5th gear, but I was trying to take it easy on the truck and don't think the clutch would've held that!

ONE of the most common mistakes I see at our pulls is Pickup guys being overly optimistic in gear selection. Takes lots of hp and clutch to pull a good sled.
