I don't know if you are talking about my hitch or not. I have the SuperGlide. Mine is rated at 20,000 pounds trailer weight and 5000 pounds hitch (pin) weight. It slides to the rear automatically as the truck is turned.
It is the first system I've seen to allow a normal fifth-wheel trailer to be pulled by a short-bed truck. I think there are one or two others now. There is also another hitch that slides, but it requires the driver to unlock and slide it to the rear for turns, then re-position it and lock it again when straightened out.
I haven't used my hitch too much, since we got a Holiday Rambler travel trailer. I never enjoyed pulling the Avion... too heavy.
When I did use it, it worked as advertised. Very nice. The hitch slides on two pipes that MUST be kept lubricated. I didn't lube them before a trip and galled the metal.
It's expensive. I had mine installed with other items, but I believe the hitch alone was about $2500, plus installation. Mine was done by Dan's Service Center in Elkhart, IN. I recommend them. Nice people and good work. From Michigan it should be an easy drive.
Good Luck.
