Hijacker "Ultra Slide" 16K 5th wheel hitch

CA to IN and back.

I tried to do a search to dig up some info, but I can't find exactly what I am looking for. I think I have my choices down to either the Pullrite 25. 5k or the Reese Signature 24k. I haven't talked to dealers first hand, I have just comparing prices on various different sites. I am confused on the price of the pullrite. Do I buy the hitch at $750+ then buy the super rails to get all of my bed back for another $600? I understand the Pullrite doesn't require any drilling, but I have not confirmed if the rails that Reese sells that are specific to my truck bolt right up. Any info would be great. I haven't found a lot of "hands on" info on the Reese Signature, if anyone has one let me know what you think of the "Puck" system.

Thanks for the input. I think I will go with the reese. If the only disadvantage is a couple of holes that won't void the warrantee, then I can save some money and get a Brakesmart Controller.

Robert,

You can't use Super Rails with a 25. 5 Super Fifth. That hitch has it's own mounting plate. Only the 15. 5 and 20. 5 use the Super Rails. The 25. 5 is a real Beast ! Unless you have One Big Honking trailer the 20. 5 would probably work fine.

To answer your question, yes, the Super Rails must be purchased seperatly ($500-$600).

I have the reese . But it was a question of money and time for me . Both are good hitches .

After 1 year the reese worked fine and is easy to take out and store . . Pull pins and take out in two pieces . Use wheelbarrow to take to back yard . .
