I would like to pull a sled a time or two but there are so many rules that I dont want to go through to pull once or twice. (Bolts in exhaust, Driveshaft Loops, 2. 8" inducer??) Is there somewhere I can pull and not have some judge crawl over my truck and say "no your turbo is to big" "What are those hoses going into that thingy" I understand the safety point, but there has to be a place more lean yent than some, I dont care if it is exhibition Just want to make a good show. If I decide to put the safety equipment on how do you and where do you hook up your driveshaft hoops/cages, Axle?? Transfer Case??. Thanks for fill in this street racer:-laf :-laf

You can pull exhibition at most any fair/brush pull. Don't expect them to let you come back and pull again without safety equipment.

As long as we are talking safety equipment, no more warnings at DHRA pulls. "Get it by the next pull" days are over.

Read the rules, and make sure your truck complies with the class you want to pull in.

At many of the pulls over this way, if you're local and you show up in a street class, as a courtesy they generally let everyone pull once or twice to get a taste without forcing every rule. I was at the Bedford County Fair last year and geez, I think there were almost 50 trucks, of which <10 were serious pullers.

If you're making good HP (and you are), they'll push a little more to make sure you're compliant "next time. "

Sledpulling is loaded with rules, and for good reason. Get used to it... . especially on turbos.

If you don't meet a charger rule, they can alternately throw you into a bigger class where you'll get your butt handed to you, but the safety requirements there are even higher. You've got enough HP to scatter parts quite a ways... . especially with a lift and short wheelbase.

It ain't like drag racing.

Fayette County Fair, Greene County Fair, Washington County Fair. They have the street diesel class & haven't given me any trouble about pulling. The Fairground pots are so low that it isn't worth the price of diesel though.

There's McConnellsburg, Bedford Fair, Harmony Grange Fair, Somerset County Fair, Listie Grove, New Centerville, and Bullskin Township name a few of the brush pulls I try to hit every year (between Westmoreland, Somerset, and Bedford Counties). I good place to start is with this website: http://www.pafairs.org/fairsmain. asp Just do a search for your local fairs and see what they offer. Like the other guys said usually they let you go once or twice without having the safety equipment. You can also check out http://www.truckpulls.com/ which is mostly made of of guys from Central/Western PA and Eastern Ohio.

Bullskin Diesel rules, from 2002: Give me $20 and weigh in. :-laf I did, and won a trophy, lol!! Got to love the brush pulls!!! Lots of fun!

Michael hope to see ya at McConnellsburg this year! Shippensburg is a real nice track and there is also Two Top and Hammins Grove!

The Lebanon pulls are generally pretty good and they pay very well, and you cant forget about the Buck. Hopefully they have different classes this year.

Don't go to the buck, unless you know there rules, there strict. I was less than 5min. late last year for registration and they told me to leave the truck in the parking lot, after driving 2 hours.
