Competition Pulls in Texas?

Are there any pulls for trucks in Texas? Or even a surrounding state would probably be close enough. All of the ones I see people talking about are on the east coast or the mid-west. That's WAY to far to drive just for a pull event. It would be fun to give it a try, even if my truck was only mildly bombed by then.
