My truck is under warranty and pulling to the right. It's not constant and gets wores when applilying the brakes. wores yet with the trailer. dealer wants to charge me to check front end allinement. Another said I might need a front camber kit:confused: . I have been reading about the porportioning valves. Please help me "deal" :)-{} ) with the dealer. HE also said that wind noise between the QC doors is normal. I hope not. I love my QC, Hate the Stealer. Thanks for any help.

I had my truck in today to have the steering box replaced under warranty. Local mechanic at the Stealer told me to say"excessive steering play" and "it wanders" he also said to pour a drop or two of steering fluid on the shaft for pitman arm(to make it look like it is leaking. ) This thing has pulled from the gitgo and they could never fix it. Drove her home today and no pull. No wander, and I even got a free alignment. I guess the wording is what gets DC to ok a problem. I also have a good relationship with the mechanic. A case of Becks works good for a job well done!

Listen to Greg, he is the swami on this one. If it still pulls when braking when you get it back let me know, I will go through that with you and have you pull free all the time.

It seems this is a pretty common thing. I had my calipers and pads and rotors replaced at about 20,000mi. It pulled to the left real bad. This fixed the problem till about 65,000mi and it stared again. To it to the local Les Schwab and the replaced the calipers again and pads and it worked fill for about 10K. Know it pulls a little but it is not consistent and not really to bad. They have a lifetime warrenty so I will just have them fix it again. The local dealer and the tire shop though both believe it is the portioning valve not working properly. Good luck with it as mine has always pulled. I dont have any wind noise on my rear doors! Dont think you should as I beleive the design is the same as a 98. I have 2 buddies with 99's and they dont make any noise either. My 2cts. worth and Good luck again with the brake problem, let us know what happened. Dave:)

also having a rear axle seal leaking will cause truck to pull also when braking, that was the problem on my 96. have you checked the rear brakes yet? bill
