Archived pulsating brakes

Brakes pulsate and the whole truck shakes. Almost didn't stop in time. Help

What year truck is it? When the brakes pulsate, is the pedal pulsing, is the stopping power pulsing, or is the whole truck shaking? What happens if you try to stop using just the ebrake?

I had something similar on my 95' 4x4, I replaced all the brakes but that didn't cure it. It turned out to be a loose steering linkage.
