I am going to be in the market for one and was wondering if ATS of HTT has any advantages over the other. I dont care about brand, just something that works well and keeps things flowing. I figure I better add one before I get my new turbo...

Also is there any port and polishing that can be done on these or are the pretty decent out of the box?

Have seen a few ATS that have been out of shape and took a little work to get on. Have not seen any trouble with the HTT. Both of them are tapped now unless you get ahold of old ATS stock. They are good out of the box but not being able to leave well enough alone there is room for port and polish work. As for an advantage over each other for fit and finish i like the HTT but if you put them on a dyno I dought you could tell a difference.

I just stuck an HTT on mine, I liked the way the ports flared out on the mounting surface. I did clean up the ports where the turbo bolts on. I figured for the money the HTT was a better bargain.

my ats has that too, i did a tracing of the turbo and compared it to the manifold and didn't see any need to mess with the flange, atleast with my stock turbo

Got an ats port and polished it the best I could exhaust and turbo without taking it apart. Runs about 2-4# less at 70 than stock. Lined up real good didn't have move it at all.

hmmm i only run 2-4 pounds at 70, but if i hammer it a second or two and it's passing 20#, mines never run over 5# at 65-70 on flat ground even with all of the crap that's been wrong with it
