Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) pump and dv question

ok guys here's the setup 291,000 miles on my 97 just installed some 370's and noticed a nice power increase but was running 40 lbs on stock holset so decided to upgrade to a dd jammer now i've got 4" exhaust and a afe intake kit should i bother with new dv's? how hard is the install? injectors took m3 45 minutes my fist time trying something like that so i guess i have mild mechanical ability. also does anyone know a pump shop in central califonia i want some timing done too since it's still set at stock. any info woud be great thanks fella's

deffintley get bigger delivery valves, there worth the money. i got the 191's, but there are also the laser cut delivery valves that flow more fuel..... you'll deffintely want to advance your timing 3-5. 5 degrees.

If you gonna go with DV's I recommend JR Adkins "Laser Cuts"..... they will definately add some fuel!! Oo. :-laf

what male in his 20's is ever happy with the power he has. If i could afford it i would have a 1000 hp truck with every gadget you can buy on it but i can't and smoke is a good thing trust me it stops people from tailgating

Smokng is a waste of fuel. You guys must have fat wallets with diesel at these prices. In my humble opinion, if I am not burning every CC of fuel I can, then I do not have things sorted out properly.

Your 1997 stock DV's should be big enough for 370's. Going with bigger DV's will definately give you more smoke...

Dv's

The 191 dv's will make some more smoke and your new turbo spool up ALOT faster, i am happy with them. I would suggest you bump your timing up to 16* or higher this will help out power and mileage improvement too. Oo.

thanks nfox that is the info i was lookin for right there. Just finished hookin up turbo and spoolup is super fast i love it. Ofcourse have to change exhaust to stacks cause well ... ..... you guys know. So im runnin just the down pipe :--) hehe what a rush it sounds cool
