Purchasing a new Dash Cover

My dash is staring to crack and break into pieces. Has anyone replaced theirs and if so where did you buy the replacement at. Were you happly with the quality of the replacement?



I searched the forum, it sounds like this will be no easy task. Thank you for any guidance you can give.

Good luck finding one. Mine has been cracked pretty badly ever since I got it. Ive been searching for an aftermarket dash for a long time now and never found one. I did however find one that someone was selling from a parted out truck (Thanks Don). I have yet to install it though since you may have to remove the window to access the front screws.



Sure wish the aftermarket would step up. Fat chance I see that happening though.

I just finished mine last weekend. I couldn't find anything new, so I got one out of my donor truck and dyed it the right color. It wasn't cracked, but I'm not sure how long it'll last before it does. I'd tell you how much trouble it was, but I can't string together that many cuss words in this forum without getting in trouble PM me if you want the step by step...

I am looking at the Genos catalog and they have replacement dash tops for 94 to 02. Maybe they can be contacted about making the early year replacements. Good Luck

You could try contacting Just Dashes http://www.justdashes.com/index_home.htm they do custom re-covering, worth a try?

Here are some links for dashes... LMC truck seems to be interesting... but at the lower price, they seem to offer more. Wondering how and why... probably all of them come out of China.
