Need a New Slip Yoke.. Can't find one

I've always used Mopar Fuel Filters on my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 with 5. 9 Cummins diesel. Yesterday, though, I was changing the fuel filter, thinking that I had a new Mopar replacement on the shelf; I didn't. So I jumped in the Jeep and went to the local Advance. They have Mopar oil filters but not fuel filters. The only fuel filters for the 5. 9 that they carried were Fram and Purolator. I chose the Purolator because I know they make the Mopar oil filters. When I got it home, though, it was obvious that this was not the supplier for Mopar fuel filters; lots of difference in the looks but the Purolator appeared to be a well-constructed filter to me. Has anyone here ever used a Purolator Fuel Filter on their Cummins? Any bad or good experiences with them that you can relate? I guess I just want to know if I should pick up a Mopar and change it again soon!

What part number is it?

The FF55360 is an 18um filter, and if its that one don't drive your truck, go get a new filter.

If its FF56097 is 5um and is fine; if its been released.

Otherwise run the Baldwin PF7977, Donaldson P550800, or OEM filters only.

OE spec is 7um absolute. 18um is a very poor filter for your HPCR. Fuel can be injected up to 23K psi, you want as good of filtration as possible.

The best filter for your truck is a Baldwin PF7977, its 5um absolute.

I would try to return the purolator, even thou it used, as it doesn't meet OE spec.

Well, I looked at Purolator's website; did a search for the fuel filter recommended for my truck. The site said F56097, not F55360, like they sold me yesterday. So I thought, "OK, maybe just a superseded number. " Purolator had a hotline on their website (good idea Purolator) so I called it and the guy said that I needed to take it back and get the F56097. So, I took it off and went back to Advance. They were going to exchange it but didn't have the F56097 in stock so they gave me my money back, even though the filter I was returning was not usable. I guess they saw that I was pretty aggravated about being given the wrong filter. Anyway, I had to drive 45 miles to and from the closest Dodge dealer to get a Mopar. I won't let that happen again!
