Push lock style air brake fittings

Installing my Pacbrake today and want to reroute an air line. Will the push lock style fitting release the air brake line or will I need to purchase new fittings?

they work great and most likely you will not have any problem Ed

Those fitting are very easy to work with. All you need to do is drain the system of air, then push the outer ring inwards and pull out gentley on the air line and it should come right out. If you have any problems call Chris at Pacbrake technical services 1(800)663-0096.

Lisle actually makes a great little tool to help release quick connects, but a wrench a little larger than the air line is usefull to push in the lock on the fitting as well

Worked great no leaks in the system.



I have not had any weight behind the truck yet but the Pacbrake will slow the truck down quick.

The warm up feature will be nice this winter. The brake stays on until the coolant temp comes up to 170.

That's the one feature I wish my 07 has was an exhaust brake.
