Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Put on homemade winter front, now fan runs all the time.

I made a winter front out of some conveyer belting and put it behind the grille, leaving all the bumper open. Now I notice my fan runs pretty much all the time when truck gets up to temperature. Any ideas how to prevent this?

That fan hub needs some air, like Forest is trying to point out. Manufacture says 10% opening in the middle of the radiator. Total blocking is putting stress on the fan also. have heard of " broken fan blades"????

I'll cut a hole approx. the size of the fan hub and see if that cures it.
