the truck?:

1989 ford-f-350 4x4 single rear wheel 460gas automatic c-6

i bought a 12 valve motor out of a wrecked dodge:

1994 2500 ram

automatic transmission

the truck was hit in the front

intercooler busted

intake busted

motor mounts busted

oil pan dented

throttle cabe ruined

where can i get pre 1994 mounts?

where can i get an oil pan reasonable

whats the best intake to buy

whats the best intercooler to use?

i already have a 1999 ford intercooler.

what kind of performance upgrades are best ?

is the banks powerpack worth the money?

i need a HO cummins flywheel for the 6speed transmission nv5600

i also need the strongest possible clutch

i also need to put bearings and front and rear main seals in while the motor is uninstalled

where is the best place for those?

should i but a new oil pump?

how much and where?

i have an np 205 transfer case out of a ford. i dont know if it is a divorced or married transfer case. what is the difference?

NP205 and other ????

is divorced if it does not bolt up to the transmission, in other words, you have a driveline between the transmission and transfer case. It is married if it bolts directly to the transmission.

Best bet for your seals is any local Cummins dealer, I wouldn't go aftermarket on these (Don't even know if you can).

South Bend Clutch for your clutching needs, talk to Peter, he'll fix you up. Do a search, you will find he is highly rated. I have a Con-0 from them in my truck.

I just bought a 98 3500 4x4 where the front axle rolled up into the oil pan. I took it off and beat it back out, welded up a few cracks, and it works great. I take it you are concerned about the oil pump having been hit, but it is not in the pan. The pickup tube actually bolts onto the block at the right front, loops around to the left, then runs along that side and drops into the lower portion of the oil pan near the front. It is secured along the sides with two tabs that bolt onto the block also, and has a screen brazed to the pickup to keep any large pieces from being sucked up. Mine was bend just a bit, but my tabs were not broken, so I used it as-is. I guess it just all depends on how bad yours is, but if you want new, the Cummins dealer will most likely be your best bet. You will need your ESN (Engine serial #) and CPL when you call to order. Cummins Southwest wanted @ 250 for a new pan, I didn't price a pickup tube.

That's about all I can help you with so far. Good luck on your project, keep us informed.
