I installed pw's in my 92 about two months ago and noticed an instant power increase over stock but can't tell for sure if my miliage changed. The only time i kept track of miliage was on a long trip and i haven't traveled much since the pw's were installed. Has anyone done a good comparison of miliage after installing pw's. I read somewhere that some people were getting worse miliage with the auto trans. trucks after the pw's. Does anyone have any information on this?

I have the PW injectors and the mileage has increased slightly, but I am not sure whether that is the result of the PW injectors, because mileage was increasing before the PW injectors. What I have found that since I installed the PW injectors I developed a tendency to step on it a little harder :D - so who knows?

Mine went up slightly but I had the pump rebuilt and the timing set right about the same time. The MPG could have gone done a little and I still would have been happy!:D

I agree with Al. Since mine went in, I tend to play with it a little more (the power!!!!). Actually after a year of having them in I would say mine has stayed the same. 18. 5 to 19. 0 combo city and hiway driving. I never have pulled much so don't know about that. I do believe that we Ato trans guys do get a little less milage anyway.

I have found that with the Lucas injectors I get a noticeable swing in mileage. If I'm in traffic I will see around 19 mpg on a tank. With no traffic and highway speed of about 10 over I see 22 mpg on 4 tanks that I have done trips on since my mods. The old mileage was around 20 mpg.
