2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission pwr window switch????

Has any one ever removed the pwr window switch from the door panel. I was having prblms with switch not working: started to remove door panel and only had to remove first screw and first pop-off connection to find it had just become disconnected somehow and works fine now, but before I did that I unscrewed the collar that holds the switch to the door panel from the outside. Does the actuator(togglge) just pop off the switch or what? I need to get the collar screwed back on but I can't get to it becasuce it's back in the hollow part of the toggle. Agian, I'm sure it's a simple matter but if you don't know you don't know.
