Pyrex percolator

Who remembers this little piece of nostalgia. Mom had this just sitting on a shelf in her pantry. I have always used a percolator and plan on putting this one to good use.

Mr Hobbs are you sure that is a Peculator type? Im a coffee freak I cant see the innards but if that in a vacuum percolator those are some good one's for sure, best coffee made is made in the vacuum type. Either way im jealous

We've been using kurig. Wife likes. Convenient. Variety is nice. I happen to like the old electric farberware perk tho.

Depends on where im at, what we use in camp just a old blue enamel 20 cup throw in the coffee with the water a boil COWBOY COFFEE!!! that will put some lead in your pencil in the AM. :-laf

At home IM going to use the one Mr Hobbs is going to send me ( I had to give it a shot anyway) But until then a Stainless Perk type.

Wayne arent those Kurig real expensive I drink alot of coffee it would take to brews to make one cup for me

Depends on machine. The old one has 3 selections with the big filling a travel mug well. She just got the vue for Xmas. That one has regular pods and travel size pods. Will do 20 oz. and hot! Yea it's expensive. But like I said. The variety is incredible. U can get 5 pack sleeves. And that's what we do. Emeril has one that I like!

I can tell you that possibly the machine itself wont get very cheap, and you'll see more brands. You'll also see an explosion of Kcups called different names, also getting cheaper. I found out the patent ran out. That's one reason they came out with the vue, which I mentioned before, wifey got for Xmas.
