Question? Has anyone installed a pyro/ EGT gauge after the DPF system? I’m asking because if I traded up to a 6. 7 truck I would like to know when the regeneration process is enabled. I think if I’m right the EGT gauge would jump significantly when the cycle starts and then drop when it ends, just wanted to see if anyone else has tried it yet.

My EGT gauge sensor is located just before the turbo and you can definitely see when the regeneration process is taking place.

If you get a Dash Hawk it will read the two factory probes located before the cat and after. During regen they run at 1100 degree idle and city but if you are on the freeway it will run in the low 1200's.
