When I drill and tap the manifold I don't want to get any metal dust in my motor!!!! I heard one guy say that he slid a piece of cardboard between the turbo and the manifold is that smart? Or is it too much work???
The card board trick is what I used when I drilled mine. I drilled and tapped very slowly using a shop vac to suck up the shavings while I did that. Then used compressed air (one of those cans used on electrical stuff) to blow out the shavings that are left inside the exhaust manifold (what little there were). This site might be of some help too http://www.showmestate.org/stltdr/how-tos/EGT_how_to.shtml
