O. K. Installed the Gauges with no problems, thanks to all the help and good advice from you all. Then started the truck. Pyro needle dose not move. Wait a few minutes. Still no move. Went for a ride, and still no move. Next morning, start truck and go to work. Pyro works. Reads 500-600 deg. running 65-70. Get into the pedal a bit going uphill, and get about 1000 deg. Day three: Start truck and go to work. Same trip as day before, but get get over 400-500 no matter how hard I try. And I tried. So , I'm thinking that I have a bad probe. Is there any way that I can test it ?? Also, get no reading at idle so far.

I am sorry to hear that, It sounds like the thermocoupler got damaged or the connections that tie together under the heat shrink tubing. Check everything from the gauge to the manifold. and the point it enters the fire wall. hope it is only a loose connection.

check the power connection too

I had a simimlar problem, it requires reseting the connection at the fuse tap. It does appear to be a loose connection. just disconnect the power and it resets.
