I AM INSTALLING A A-PILLAR DUAL GAUGE WITH PYRO AND BOOST. I HAD A QUESTION ABOUT WHERE I NEED TO MOUNT THE PROBE FOR THE PYRO? THE PEOPLE I TALK TO SAY BEFORE TURBO AND OTHERS SAY ON THE MANIFOLD? WHICH ONE IS BETTER FOR AN ACCURATE READING. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINKOo. Oo.

Before turbo and manifold are the same thing. After turbo would be installed in the exhaust pipe or elbow. Most are installed in the exhaust manifold . there are many instructions on the search as to how to drill the manifold and install the probe.

If you fill out your signature it helps folks provide the best answers based on what year, model, and set-up you have...

Pre-turbo = on the manifold (same thing).

What brand of boost gauge are you using, and where did you buy it? With my ISSPRO, I received a "boost bolt" that replaced one of the bolts on the inside row of bolts on the intake manifold (I chose the 2nd bolt from the aft end). You just attach the boost line to the noted boost bolt with a fitting (all supplied with gauge) and, viola... should work fine. I would call Geno's and see if they can help you figure out if you have all the parts you need to hook it up right... They have the best customer service and are very knowlegeable and helpful!:-laf

The Gauges Are Auto Meter Gauges. The Instructions Say To Tap Into A Vacume/boost Line. . I Read The Install Tips You Gave Me. thanks . . And I Want To Do It That Way But The Gauges Did Not Come With A Boost Bolt.

I wonder if you can do it that way? I don't know anything about Autometer, but the folks at Geno's might know and they can get you the boost bolt and other bits & pieces you would need, if this is possible... Sorry I can't be of more help.
