<font color=blue>It all depends on what you like. I would browse different ones and then pick the one that suits you best. I personally like the AutoMeter Ultra Lites. I chose the UltraLites because I love the way they look. Just browse around before you buy.

Some people like the SPA Digital gauges.

I ordered my Autometer ultralites today. Try www.carparts.com I saved about 50 bucks from the price of my local speed shop. part# I used are boost #4304 EGT #4365 thermocouple #5249 2 gauge pod #15203 I should get them next week.

A fellow TDR friend has the Ultra Lites too. I like them as well. I am going to get them, just not sure on getting the carbon fibre ones or the regular ones. One note my friend made me aware of. If you plan on going with the bigger hx40 turbo the regular Ultra lites only go to like 30 PSI. The hx 40 will need a higher boost gauge. Presently the higher one only comes in a 2 5/8. Not ideal for a pillar mount. Good luck.

Here is a pic of my Auto Meter Sport Comp
gauges I got from Summit:

They look great at night too. The kit comes
with green bulb condoms so the lighting
matches the factory backlighting.

<font color=blue>Actually it goes to 35psi (#4304)

And currently trying to get in contact with Autometer in regards to building a 0 to 50 psi 2 1/16th inch gauge, there are five of us so far in need of it. I plan on calling them tommorrow since they haven't answered my email yet.

I have the DiPricol gauges on a pillar mount. TST recommended them over the Isspro, said the lighting was better and the EGT gauge had red lines in the danger zone instead of one color. I am satisfied with them, although I have not seen the other brands. One thing I would suggest is make sure whatever boost gauge you get goes to at least 50 psi. Once you start bombing 30 is useless, 35 extremely marginal. With only the TST #5 plate I already see boost hit 32 at WOT.

I like the Westach dual gauges. With a two gauge mount I've got boost,EGT,trans temp and fuel presure with out filling every empty space on my dash. They also sell quad gauges if you want to get it all in one. www.westach.com

I also bought DiPricol gauges from TST and love them. The boost gauge has a lit needle but my EGT gauge doesn't (although I've heard that they now do).

Hey Kat! I spoke with AutoMeter yesterday (22nd) and they said it will be about December before they come out with a boost above 35 in the size we need for A-pillar install. Oh well. #ad

I went with AutoMeter two years ago. I just ordered a new pair of Ultra-Lites with the pillar mount. I had a problem with my pyro one time. Quit working. I e-mailed AutoMeter with the problem. I sent the gauge in and they replaced with no problems.

<font color=blue> Hey Kat the AutoMeter site shows a single pod mount with the dual pod and if my eyes don't decieve me, that single looks like it's for a 2 5/8" gauge. Doesn't it? Maybe we wouldn't have to opt for the custom boost gauge if we can just add that pod at the bottom of the pillar. I know it's a Ford van but what if?

<font color=blue>WOWZY -

Thanx for the information, but I have enough poeple showing interest in ordering the custom gauge. Go read the link posted above by my on this matter. If it comes down to it I will front the cost of the "screen" because quite frankly I want that gauge! #ad

I am just trying to save everyone a lil money if I can. 2 5/8th inch is a wee bit big for the pillar. (In my opinion)

If you wanna jump in on this 2 1/16th inch 0 to 50 PSI Ultra Lite let me know (can also be put on black dial) and I will add you to the list I have running.

I haven't decided on black or white. I need to see the UL's before I decide. If anyone has the UL's on the pillar please post some pics so I can decide. I've seen some vehicles with white faced gauges and the instrument cluster was black. I thought that it looked tacky but if I see some picks it might change my mind. Thanx for going outa your way.

Wowzy, the Ultra-Lites aren't really white. The dial is satin anodized aluminum giving it a natural aluminum finish. The pictures can be very decieving. The dial matches the outside trim ring of most AutoMeter Pro-Comp and Sport-Comp gauges. If you are unsure, I would suggest finding somebody close who has them so you can see them first hand.

Jeff, thanks. I could of sworn they were white. pictures are decieving.
