Well my Banks Pyrometer arrived this week, and I got out the grease gun. Drilled a pilot hole until I thought I was close to going thru, then the 7/16 (for 1/4 pipe fitting) to the bottom of the pilot hole, then started with grease on the 7/16 and on thru. Cleaned the bit about 6 times. Taped the hole to specs with 6 or 8 cleanings and regreasings of the tape. Had some grease on the bottom of the manifold from when the bit went thru, however very little or no shavings. Cleaned up with magnet and small screwdriver. Fired up without a problem.
Road test tomorrow night. Snow King
