I Have a "99 24v 190,000 with Pyrometer reading 1200 degree's. Running temp of motor around 200 degree's. Load of fresh cut oak. After market repair manual only talk's about low or restricted air flow, check or replace air filter. My air filter is K&M Please help.

If you are climbing a grade loaded heavy that could be normal, need more info to get a better idea of whats going on

I Don't Drive this Truck everyday. 1st noticed running in the 300 to 700 range. Bought a 20 ft. Round nose car hauler and ran it ran 1000 to 1200 warm day. No real cargo weight . Had radiator Flushed needed to be done . ? inter cooler, Radiator? Let me Know Thanks!

My 01 runs 1150 pulling grade with 6k trailer. Check air filter. Suggest you get rid of K and N go to stock or a Big Honking Air Filter, [BHAF]. Do search on here for more info.

If the truck is stock-no mods, programmers, injectors etc check for a boost leak. The most common point is the clamp at the intercooler on the passenger side.

I can hit 1,200F easy with a load going uphill. I downshift and work the throttle to keep it under that. I usually have 16-17 of boost at that point.

1200 up hill loaded is about right, depending on grade and load. I don't get to worried till 1250 or higher. What is the Edge set at?
