Pyrometer was twitching

The other night I drove home from work and when I pulled up to the house I looked at my pyrometer before I shut the truck off to see my Danin Optix pyro was twitching constantly. Any of you guys know what this is or if I should be concerned?

mine did that a couple of times and i did away with the little white plastic plug, that plugs the gauge to the probe. no problems or twitching since.
