We just got two HOBART portable gensets at my work that are rated for 140KVA powered by a QSB 6. 7 with the governor set at 2,000 rpm.

We shouldnt have to worry about the DPF or EGR clogging up. When this gen set is hooked up it is generating every bit of 120 KVA and does it very quietly to.

Here is the product sheet. I can't shoot video here at work. I WILL end up in jail. I can saw that this thing running at full power is not hush quiet is very quiet. You know how you run things at the rated power and it sounds like the engine is giving everythig it has to get there and making a bunch of noise while its at it? Not this, of course we all know 240HP out of a 6. 7 is a slow walk in the park for this motor.



We have another power cart here that takes 3 phase 60Hz 440 volt and converts it to 400Hz 3 phase 115 volt. When the system is fully powered it is sucking 166 amps of 440. The reason? Hook up a 3 ton freon based refrigeration system to a 115V 3 phase electric motor and see how many amps that pulls.

We just got 2 Hobart 90 KVA 400 Hz carts, but they run off 480 3P. . and yes pulls a LOT of amps.
