I have purchased a military surplus 2010 QSB6.7 engine which is unused and in original packaging from Cummins.
I realize that the QSB is an off road/agricultural engine and does not meet the requirement for on road vehicles
but I am curious as to what, if any, physical differences exist between the ISB6.7 and QSB6.7 and what would
have to be done to the QSB to turn it into an ISB. Any info will be appreciated.

The pistons are probably different, and depending on the rating the crank may be different. I do believe the blocks are the same, as the rods.

The biggest difference would be tuning, what are you putting it in? What are you using for tuning?

Using quickserve you should be able to look at a QSB ESN and an ISB ESN and see parts differences.

I personally run QSB pistons and gaskets in my 05.

What were your intentions with the engine? I think your engine has a rear driven gear train. Is the CP3 fuel pump towards the rear of the engine, near the bell housing? I believe the engines for the Rams have a front drive gear train. I don't think there is a physical difference between ISB and QSB, as a query of images shows ISB's with a rear driven pump as well. I do think that if you have a rear gear train, you'll have to deal with a SAE bell housing.
