I remember seeing a full 4door second gen conversion on here a while back that looked factory. I can not find it anymore and was wondering if anyone knows where to get this done. I was considering a third gen but i really dont want to get rid of my truck.

I looked into this too, and its about $20,000 to make a quad cab a crew cab with the quad cab doors. Here is another company that does it...

Not cheap, if I had $20,000 cash to spend on that, I would rather use that money for a down payment on a Mega Cab.

Yeah for 20K i will just buy the wife an SUV that we can take on trips. I just got back from a 5 hour trip in the truck and with a kid the back is seeming smaller than ever.

I started making mine into a crew cab about 6 months ago. So far i only have a little under a $1,000. $450 for a regular cab with complete interior. $200 to have the rear drive shaft lenthed. $200 for a roof section. And about $150 in two smashed up doors that i cut down for the rear doors, steel channel, and alot of time. Alot of time. Everything i have done myself so far. Hope to have under $2,500 in the conversion when its all said and done. Should be done by march of 2007. I finally got laid off for the winter so i will have 3 months straight, every day to work on it. Should come to gether pretty quick. Check it out. Let me know what you think.

I have some pics in my readers rig under 2001 crew cab.

I have a 97 crew cab from bayer auto. Pics are on my readers rigs. I didn't build it but i could get some specific pics if there is an area you are curious about.

I have already started making the rear doors for it but am curious if you have a pic of what they used for the rear door hinge set up? And if you know what the rear door opening meusement is? I am already past that point, but am just curious? I wish i could have seen one already made but have just been going off of pics i have found on the internet. Do you know off hand what they used for the rear window? Is it custom or out of somthing?

Thanks

Eric

My truck was at home. Pulled my brothers 99 down with our buddies black 03. I don't have a gooseneck ball and that was the trailer we had to use.

Which was yours?

(sorry to get off topic)
