Quad Cab rear seats

If this is posted somewhere else please forward it. . I searched but didn't come up with anything.

Problem: Rear seat in my 03 Quad cab is getting complaints from kids and wife... NOW that the kids are above the 10yr mark seems they need more room or at least a more cushy seat than plywood.

I don't have the $$$ to run out and buy myself a new Mega Cab... and the fact that I have this truck modded to where I want it. So I was thinking about finding an alternative for making the rear seat more comfortable.

Has anyone done this yet ? or at least know of where I can get some materials to do it myself? I was thinking along the lines of maybe getting hold of some of that memory foam they use in mattress coverings ???

I think any custom interior shop could greatly improve your rear seats.



Unbolt them and drop them off at the shop. Unless you do something unusual, it would not cost too much. Down near the Mexican border it would not be more than $100-150

I think the biggest problem with the QC seats are the angle They are so straight. The bottom is too short. I dont know if extra padding will really help. I think its more of a seating position problem.

My biggest problem with the '03 rear seats is the lack of head rests. The only solution I found was to swap in an '04. 5 seat back and head rests. I may get more complaints once the little guy is older.
