quad comander fuel pressure ??s

what fuel preassure should a 06 run at? I have a comander and when it was first put in it had a good 10psi at idle and would pull down to 5 on long hard pulls. after about 1000 miles on the road the preasure drop quick so i pulled over and changed the filter figureing it was the issue, even with the new filter it remained low. I thought maybe i had the adjustment wrong but the presure jumps around alot. any ideas?
