So I just started the slippery slope of mods. Installed the commander on the 2004. 5 CCLB that I have and gotta a few questions.

First is I also just installed the non-adjustable 65 hp tow module that quadzilla sells and linked the two, when I program the commander for the box it asks if it is a XZT,and I say yes is that correct? And by the commander it has 3 adjustable settings, are they different HP settings now that it is interconnected to the commander? or is 1,2,3 all the same I sure can't tell.

Second is what are some good base numbers for the warning and defueling settings? EGT,trans, coolant, boost?

The rig has a K&N and straight piped rollin on 35's

BTW this thing sure seems alot faster... .

I'm looking at getting the XZT and am wondering the same thing about adjustability with the Commander. Anyone have an answer for this?

If you have the Commander with the XZT you will now have Off, 25hp, 45hp and 65hp to choose from.

On a 600 if you want to be really safe the warning levels should be 1350 egt, 40psi boost, 220 coolant and 230 transmission.

Adjustable? Great!

Thanks Qzilla, thats exactly what I was looking for. Yet the literature and the threads that I found could not support my theory. I have it set to warn at 1350 and have had the warning come on with a full throttle run no load and it hit 1400* at 80+ and I backed out. And boy did it come up fast!!!!

The last question that I have is the trans temp when turned on starts out at 104* when cold. Will it not measure any lower or do I have an issue? I used teflon thread as suggested in the manual and used the #2 test port.

The install was very easy yet I had the commander wires in the wrong spot, easily noticable and avoudable if I wasn't in such a excited frenzy.

Over all great product, easy install, very easy user interface at the commander, and if I can keep my foot out of it I hope to see more MPG.
