Has anyone on here had any experience with the Quadzilla MM, they claim an 8 to 12 % improvement in mileage. This would be great if you could really get it, but I'm suspious of claims like this. Any thoughts? Thanks
I've had the Quad XZT+ on the rig for more than a year. I keep it on the mileage setting (there's three settings) and am not sure I've seen any improvement over stock. I say I'm not sure because I would bet a new set of injectors would help out. Mine are OEM and have 107K miles on them. The fact that I can still get 22/23 MPG just might be the Quad XZT+ doing it's thing.
The power setting certainly works. I rarely switch to the high power setting (65+ HP) but can feel it when I do.
My rig has always been good on mileage and I would think a mileage chip wouldn't show much improvenment. On engines that don't do so well the Quad might help out a little. At $2. 75 a gallon I'll take any advantage I can get. JMO
I have one on the 01. I have it turned off all the time now. It did seem to help mileage, but there was zero performance improvement other than that. Problem I have is I get an engine shutter type issue and low rpm and low throttle input. I don't think it hurts anything but it's very annoying, so I don't use it.
I bought one and installed it and it kept throwing check engine codes. Never did get out of the driveway. Talked to their "Tech Support" which was a joke. He wanted me to send it back so he could "check it" lol and he wanted ME to pay to ship it back. He would not send me another one out. I finally got fed up and told him I wanted a refund and I was sending the defective one back. He said I had to pay the freight to send the defective box back.
I dont know much about the company but with their terrible tech/customer support I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM THEM AGAIN.
If the product is defective then THEY should have reimbursed me for sending that piece of garbage to me in the first place.
Stay away from that company, they DONT take care of the customer.
