IS IT SAFE TO USE THIS WITHOUT GAUGES,I HAVE A 2005 RAM 2500 4X4 3. 73 GEARS WITH G56 6-SPEED,AEM DRY FLOW INTAKE,MBRP CAT BACK EXHAUST,305 BUCKSHOT MUDDERS. THE ONLY TOWING I DO IS A 2500LB BOAT? Oo.

safe, might be.

smart, you know.

even when my old 12v was in its worst temps(220DVs, DDP4's, ground plate, gsk, and stock turbo) my temps were resonable driving empty. i could hit 1300* in third but it never stayed there long. i would at least get an egt gauge. even towing light, wind resistance and hills add up.

all that said, id probably do it but make sure you get gauges on the way. at least its safer that way

I've run the "race" box for 2 years and just installed (last Saturday) the Quad "Monitor"... all I can say is "Sweet!". :-laf For $350... it's the cats whiskers! The install and the instruction booklet can be frustrating but you can PM me if you run into problems and I'll walk you thru it. It's the best gauge set-up I've ever run. Spring for the extra bucks and get the fuel pressure adapter kit. It's reassuring to monitor egt's and lift-pump/injection pump pressures on the fly and at shut-down. I'm probably gonna wind up in a major rear-ender cause I watch my monitor more than I watch the road... "... danger... danger Will Robinson!!!". It's nice to finally "see" what's going on under the hood rather than "guessing. "
