I have the Quadzilla XZT+ on my truck.

I thought it had a boost fooler built in, I see 24-26 psi and am getting P0234 an overboost code????????

Any idea's on whats going on?

Thanks in advance

MAP Sensor

I did some searchs on P0234 and beleive my MAP sensor is bad since the XZT+ has boost fooling built in and I'm getting overboost code P0234.

I ordered one from Holsi Diesel + the new wiring harness?

What size socket do I need to replace the MAP sensor?

Thanks in advance,

Chuck

I've got the Q. XZT+ in my truck and yes, it does do boost fooling I believe in mid and high position on the switch. I dont know about in stock position. I've replaced the MAP sensor before but I dont remember what size socket it is... pretty sure I used a metric 12 point deepwell though. How do you like the 275RV's? Is the difference noticeable enough to make it worth the change from stock?

RV275's

SKuyper,

The 275's are a mild improvement over stock which is what I was after, with the XZT+ it runs hard enough that I'm worried about the transmission being able to last.

I know all about the transmission thing... I'm driving right through the TC lockup clutch in the converter now... if I hit a hill with the box in high position and the transmission is in OD and TC is locked, or even hit a moderate hill and give it the pedal with my camper hooked up... my tach will climb a couple hundred rpm with no corresponding increase in speed... I have to hit the OD button and that sends it back to third and TC clutch lockup, then it pulls fine but sends the engine into an rpm range where torque goes away and I have to SLOW down to 50 mph or so, to keep from screaming the engine... . pretty much stinks ! The old saying that a factory 47RE transmission is nothing more than a timed fusible link... and the factory torque converter is a pitiful joke. I dont know how Chrylser / Dodge got away with using it for as long as they did... .

Fed Ex had a better idea... they used a GM turbo 400 behind the 4cylinder turbo B series Cummins in their delivery vans with good results.
