Quadzilla?

I've been looking at adding gauges to my truck, and I'm leaning towards the Quadzilla. It seems to have the most information per dollar spent.



I wanted to find out what users of the Quadzilla thought:

-Are you happy with it?

-How was the install?

-Any advice?

-Any regrets?

-Anybody doing the fuel pressure kit?



Is there another system that I should be looking at?



I need EGT, Trans temp, oil pressure, and boost (ok, I don't need boost, but it is nice).

Another question:

Can it do both engine oil temp and trans fluid temp, or just one or the other?

I have it and am very hapy with it. I also did the fuel pressure kit and there has been a few minor issues with the fuel pressure jumping around due to bad sending units. right now its either trans or engine oil temp unless they have a way for you to use the engine coolant temp to do oil temp. they should have the kits out now so its all plug in stuff , the original way was to tap the factory wires.

Nice post. I am considering the quadzilla as well. I think Edge is now making a similar (attitude) that just does the monitoring-no performance gains. Check the Geno's catalog... BD Digital is another electronic multi-guage.

I called Edge today, and apparently for my truck their attitude gauge system has to be coupled with one of their power modules. That combo puts the total price up around $800. I'm not sure, but I think for newer trucks you can get the attitude as a stand alone.

I'm not sure if I am going to do a power module, so right now I want a gauge system that doesn't need one.

If I do get a module, I am leaning towards the Smarty or the Smarty Jr.

I also have the Commander. It is a good gauge, but like mentioned previously, the lift pump fuel pressure jumps around alot. Also, it doesn't do everything that is advertized: It doesn't monitor RPM, it doesn't show 7 parameters simutaniously(only 4), and it won't datalog the parameters for playback or download to a PC.

I have the Pulse with the Adreniline, ir even shows Fuel Temp, it will read trans or oil temp your choice.
