Quality of Smithy Combination Lathe/Mill

Does anyone have experince on the Smithy combo mill? Any sugggestions for a quality entry/mid level mill? I read the other thread discussing lathes but saw no mention of Smithy. Thanks.

A friend of mine has one and uses it to build black powder rifles, swears by it. It looks to be much higher quality than your average Chinese tool. It is made in China but Smithy claims to have a quality control person from the states there at all times.

Found Smithy's web site and am going to take a closer look at it. I am mainly interested in milling UHMW plastic. Anyone else have experiences with the Smithy mill?
