Anyone with the 600 figure out what the top speed is with the auto? The wind resistance overcomes my torque at 3200 rpm(about 108mph). Im curious what rpm the 600 runs out of gusto.

have 3. 73's and 315 tires i have hit 110 before i let off. I have had the speedo recalibrated so i know it was correct.

My second gen is governed at 3500. It is easy to tell. Put it in first and run it til it doesnt go any higher. Are you sure its governed at 3200?

Dunno about the 3rd gennie trucks, but 2nd generation stuff with a bit better 3. 54 gearing and manual transmission have frequently registered about 130 MPH before hitting the govenor - I suspect the govenor is a bigger factor here than wind resistance.

It's not the engine governor stopping you at 107-110 mph, but the vehicle speed limiter. Mine does 108 and not a bit more, which is 10 mph slower than my stock '01 did, which was also had a speed limiter.

Rev limit

The 600 does not govern at 3200. It is just below 4000. When my throttle assy snapped it ran up to just under 4000.
