Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Quest for the 12's / parts list please

I have a 01' long bed 4x4 auto that I would like to get moving down the road... quickly. I know I need a good transmission/converter/valve body. I was looking for suggestions on trannies and all the other parts that this is going to require. One turbo or 2? which box? which injectors? nitrous? propane? how much boost? all of the good questions. Thanks in advance I look forward to this project more than the others I have undertaken. Once again the truck specs

If I was in your situation I would be thinking Ultra or Mega Mentals, Drag Comp, Twins, 5inch exhaust stacks, Hx50/55, propane or nitrous and some serious transmission upgrades. sounds like fun and hope you have the $$$ and time to build it right. Also be thinking very heavy duty U-joints. just my . 02

IMO with a long box quad 4x4,your weight is 7000+ you. I think you will need a shot of N20 to get there.

1. Id go with the Edge drag comp,

2. Buly dog 6-8's or DD mega mentals,

3. O ringed head,

4. Piers Hx50 with wastegate

5. you'll need a new transfer pump,and lines right from the tank to the inlet of the vp44 ADT makes a nice system,and they are a top notch company

6. ,Afe cannnon air filter.

7. 4 or 5" exhaust.

8 Bully dog or DD N2O system. Id preffer the bully dog 2 stage

9. To get that power to the ground Id go with a full DTT modified auto with billet input hub/shaft,and a race 91 or 93 TC.

This setup will be streetable,with just an injector swap to a set of 2's or 3's. Dont plan on driving round with huge injectors,you'll smoke real bad,and arent meant to be run daily,they are race injectors designed to dump tons of raw fuel to compliment the N2o system. You could also run twin turbos and go with a Cam from Piers or DD,along with a ported head, these arent necessary to get in the 12's ,but they make drivebility,especially off the n2o better,and clean up some low end smoke/while knocking down the EGTS quite a bit .
