I know alot of people here are not Banks fans, that is fine. I am not trying to start any wars, just looking for some honest info. I have the banks Big Hoss control module (Level 2, 80 hp). My question is: Has anyone that has had a banks control module tried to add injectors or any other BOMBs with any success? Does any one know the differences between Banks and Edge EZ? Thanks for any info.

Derek B.

You run into problems when adding injectors to a Banks Box because of defueling due to EGT's. Since EGT's will be raising faster than the box is used to sometimes it will just quit fueling while acceleratiing even before the 1200 degree mark is even met. Also it will defuel harder when it hits 1250 so beyond that you will have no power. The way to fix this is to put the pyrometer post turbo... then you should have no problems with the box. The Banks Box fuels via the vp44 pump wire and the EZ uses the Data cable. You can stack an EZ for way more bottom end and horsepower. When I did my EGT's actualld dropped.

Instead of injectors, why don't you just return the Big Hoss to Banks for reprogramming to a higher power level? You can go all the way up to level-5 which is 160hp for the cost of a reflash.
