Before I slide down the slippery slope of all you other bombadiers I,m going to invest in some gauges, thinking of the single or dual pod gauge gizmo to accomodate the Isspro
combo gauge & a transmission temp gauge. The dual pod seems like it will be a bit of overkill on the A frame ,anyone have any pictures of this you can post ,also does the back lighting match the dash gauges, or wandering if i,m better of getting the single pod for the combo gauge & using the pocket next to the stereo for the trans temp gauge. Ihave a 2001 Ram/auto. Thanks in advance

I agree that this setup makes an "already to big" a piller even bigger. but there is not any where else to put them. I had the gauges installed down on the console for a week (while I wated for my gizmo to get painted) and you could not use the gauges very well. You could see them, but it was kind of like dialing a mobile phone, you are looking for a crash!

I have the dual in my 98. 5. It looks ok, I am getting used to it. I even have hit my head on it once or twice while bending over to pick something up off the floor.

Now that I have it, the visability of the gauges out weighs the distraction of an A piller wider then a 2X4!

And everybody coments on them when they get in the truck! (positive I might add)

Treeman,
I agree with towpro, not to many options of where to install them, on the dash or the pillar.
I put mine on the pillar and slid the pod under the rubber door seal and far as I could get it and clipped it to the pillar. It doesn't stick out into the windshield area and lines up good with the pillar.
The lighting on the Isspros suck #ad
the EGT lets light shine out from the edge of the guage and can drive you nuts. The boost guage light is to dim. So you need to make a trip to the auto parts store and get new bulbs and while you are there get green ones because the stock ones are white.
Good luck.
