Question about injectors I just bought.

I just bought a set of Lucas injectors off of Ebay and I was wondering if some one could tell me what exactly they are whether they are PODs or what. they are in a cummins box the part # on the box is 3802333 and there is a # on the injectors that reads LJC6760522.

That link will show you price of that 3802333 Cummins injector. I don't believe the PODS are Cummins injectors. Did u buy them from the only 'vendor' that sells PODS on ebay or used from an individual? I got mine from that vendor and they are Lucas PODS that PDR sells, verified from the search feature. Are you intercooled? What size injector tip are they?

How many holes are in the tip? PODs have 4. I would hazard a guess that the injectors arent Cummins- I have never heard of a Cummins B-series injector starting with a LJ. WHile you have them out, get them tested for pop pressure and fuel spray atomization.

The injectors have four holes in the tip they look to be brand new I forgot there is a number at the top of the injector which is 9327 now whether or not it means anything or not I don't know . they came in one box packed in bubble wrap and he included a small box from cummins at the bottom of the label it says United Kingdom now whether this is a box for one of these injectors or not I don't know the guy said he went to his local cummins shop and they told him that they are 250 HP injectors. They also came with the adapter tips and I think I got a good deal on them at $192.

i just looked at the POD's i have sitting in my garage, i bought them from Piers last jan. when they were on sale. The number on my injector is LJC6760524 KWM and then they say DELPHI the top number on mine are 9329, there is also a piece of paper that says 264 bar in the bag, hopefully someone that knows what that means will jump in but i've always heard to buy from Piers because they match the set of injectors. If those are POD's that you have, you got a good deal.

Also Piers has all the sets of new injectors we receive sent to the pump shop for balancing and matching of sets.

We do our best to be within 2 bar on any injector in a given set.

You should also be using the thinnest washer in the install kit... if you got one.

I think it is a 20 thou washer.

I just put those PODs I just bought in my truck and they seem to work really well in fact the engine seems to be a little quieter. Thanks to everybody for all the info it was vey helpfull next step a PDRHX35
