I have a 2010 Laramie with the Media Center 430 radio, pictured below.
It seems logical that when the vehicle is turned on, the stereo would resume playing the station/source that it was when the vehicle was turned off last (what my prior OEM and aftermarket head units have done).
However, this doesn't seem to be the case. I usually end up listening to the IPOD or SAT source and that's what it's on when I turn off the ignition. Usually when the vehicle turns on, the head unit powers on to FM preset 1. Once or twice, it has come on with the prior source, eg SAT or IPOD.
I have tried setting the "Driver 1 Settings" / "Driver 2 Settings" programmed with the buttons on the left-side of the driver's seat (ie, I have hit the program button with it on the SAT/IPOD source) and those don't seem to make a difference.
Any ideas how it decides what source to power-on with?
