Truck filled engine block again with fuel#@$%! Last time was a cracked injector 1 year ago next week. Now on July 3rd I smell fuel again and pull over. I have been here before I even pop the hood. Ramp truck to shop and pay to have injectors sent to be tested. They find metal material in tips but other than that it good. Pull CP3 pump and send to II. They claim its not there pump and instead of sending my pump back they send another REPLACEMENT pump:confused:. Pull stock fuel filter and cut open. NO metal in filter. So my question is where would the metal come from? II claims it wasn't from the CP3 because it was ok. Where did the fuel enter the block? I ahve paid my bill and truck runs fine again but I'm feel someone isn't letting the truth be told at my COST.

Pull the rail and inspect for Pits and rough surface, it should be brite and smooth... if water enters the system it will cause corrosion.
