My limited slip seems more like maximum burn,... but on just one tire??? What the heck is that? Aren't both these rears suppose to lockup when you fire 'em up? Confused?

There was another thread going for quite a while about your subject. In a nutshell if you are in dirt, snow mud, ect. you have to set your parking break lightly so the drive wheel senses the lock up to get the other wheel to turn. It's not a " locker".

Ot Of here

Sounds like you have a bad diff. I have burried my duals (both) without messing with the parking brake. Mine really works good.

That's what I think

I would think as soon as it senses that one wheel is slipping that the other, in addition to the slipping wheel should bite also. Isn't that the way this works? If so I think they slipped in a standard rear on me and my paperwork and what I paid extra for is limited slip. If this is right, they will be seeing me.

As I understand it, the centrifugal force of the spinning tire transfers some percentage of power to the non spinning tire and depending on how much power is transferred and how much traction it has, it may or may not spin. I've had great success with mine so far. I've pulled threw some pretty muddy slippery areas both loaded and unloaded. It has performed better than my RamCharger with LS and better than my sons 1/2 ton Ram with LS. From what I've read it may actually have a negative effect in the snow. If I lived up north I'd buy a 4WD.
