Question about PM's

Steve, I have sent 2 PM's over the past couple of days and they are not appearing in my Sent Items folder in Private Messages. Since I haven't received replies on them I am wondering if, in fact, they were sent. How would/do I know they went out?

The default is to not save a copy of sent message and to not track them. If you want to do that when you send the pm there are check boxes at the bottom that say "save a copy" and "request read receipt" that you need to check. We made that change about a year ago because many users didn't know that the sent items or message tracking folders existed and would fill up their pm boxes. We used to have to answer about 10 emails a day about this and now your question only comes up once a month or so. Since you didn't check those boxes there's no way now of knowing whether they were sent or not. You could resend them.
